This may be an "in-vain search;" however, I'll put it up on here in the slim chance someone locates these: - 14x14 (or 14x16) Bubinga Designer Maple Light LONG-LUG Floor Tom - 16x16 (or 16x18) Bubinga Designer Maple Light LONG-LUG Floor Tom In the case that these truly don't exist, I'm willing to settle on any Bubinga Designer Maple Light SHORT-LUG kit with floor toms and a 22" or 18" bass drum. Prog on! |

Things always come around Justin. Patience and perserverance will produce the golden pieces. I've had much experience back when I was collecting vintage drums waiting on pieces I never thought existed and they always showed up. Sometimes after I gave up and sold the kit. And don't you know at least two would show up immediately following. A lot of times it takes buying a whole kit to get your pieces but there is always a market for orphans. Sometimes you get all your money back and the piece you needed. |

Justin, You may want to keep an eye on that FT on ebay. I paid embarrassingly more than the current price when I special ordered a 16X16 in December of 2008 from Sonor, the deadline for such Designer orders. Roland |

Looks like all the bubinga hunters are in the game. I had emailed him yesterday befor I saw this to see if I could work ourt a deal for both the 16x16 and he 12x10 he is selling. Hoping to end up with a 12/16/20 bubinga Designer rock n' roll set-up that is seperate from the jazz sixes that stay in the studio. Justin, If you are going after the FT, we should talk, so that we don't just make the seller rich. Email me if you are. |

Thanks for the head's up, guys! I think I'm going to hold off until the Long-Luggers surface. One of the members on the forum which shall not be named said he has a 14x14 and 16x16 bubinga long-lug drums. I'm still waiting on a picture which I should probably follow up on. Either way, my mits are off so no worries from my end. |

I finally tracked down a photo of the ever-elusive Bubinga Designer 14x14 and 16x16 Long-Lug Floor Toms that I've been searching for. Look at picture 12 for the drums I'm talking about...he also has hanging floor toms on RIMS so don't be fooled by the other pictures. http://www.myspace.com/davegoodmanmusic ... /60501716#{%22ImageId%22%3A852544} Gregory and I have previously discussed weither such models even exist...The only ones we had seen were the long-lug hanging floor toms or short-lug traditional floor toms. Picture 12 should put that question to rest though. Now the hard part... tracking down a person who wants to sell these. |
