Well guys, I've managed to sell the Gretsch Catalina bop set I had. That means only one thing - I'm a step towards getting an 18" S Classix bass drum. It has to be Walnut roots. It doesn't matter if it's 14" or 16" deep. It doesn't matter if it's drilled or not. If You see ANYTHING on the web - please let me know!!!!!!!!!!! The good news is - SONOR still makes them, although for a "nice" price... The bad news - I have to wait 12-14 weeks for the drum to reach me... Let's hope for the best!!! |

Goki, we were recently told that Sonor was 'clearing out' some existing stock at a greater discount. There were SClassix and Delite drums available at 5-10% less than standard dealer margin. If you have a Sonor dealer you trust, it might be worth putting forth the question . Some dealers may retain the extra discount into their profit, some may pass on the discount. I was lucky enough to get a 10+13 to match my Ebony SClassix, old stock, the 13 is actually the same months production as my kit November 09, old, OLD STOCK . Maybe worth asking the Good Luck |

Thanks for the info Jeff... Unfortunately, NO SONOR DEALER for my part of Europe... Further more, Shane from DCP can't arrange for the drums to be sent within Europe... |

One thing is funny - in Macedonia we had a saying from the 70s "You owe money as Greece", and EU discovered this saying in 2009... |
