I am coming out with my own badge and debating on re-branding these..

Hey, Lutz. Just a badge, or is there a business associated with the badge?

Well, I wouldn't call it a full blown business, but I have been making drums for 15 years and figure the drummer needs someone to blame when he can't get it to sound right.. ;) I recently finished a segmented zebrawood drum for a customer and it took second place in a nationwide drum build off, so I figure I'm getting the hang of it..

The 13" piccolo looks great Latz...

You have a fantastic collection - congratulations!!!

Thanks!! Funny story about the piccolo and the other 13" shell. When the guy I worked with was going out of business and pissed off at the world, he just started chucking stuff in the garbage. These shells were some of the things. So I said, "I can make those into drums," and there they are. The piccolo was our finish sample shell. The inside was and still is numbered so customer's could say, "I want finish number x," and we'd then know what to finish their drums. That is the reason for the rainbow finish. If I would have planned it, the lugs and number of finishes would better correspond..

Some years back I lent this snare to a local studio and well known drummer. He tried very hard to get this drum from me. In fact, I had to frisk him before he left for the airport!

Thanks Kelly. I ended up buffing the zebrawood out into a gloss finish. It looks even better than it did before... :D
