Ok I understand that Greg, personally both bass pedals have to work identically and I adjust the distance between the hats so impact point is the same.
Goki, unless you are playing traditional grip with your left foot I would say both feet should be the same, or at least as close as possible on a technical level. :D

I hear that, cusski, but I like to keep the gap between hats very narrow (even though it looks fairly open in the pic). I would appreciate a hi-hat board adjustment that didn't involve either the cymbal position or spring tension, but the setup feels natural- looks aside - which is most of the game.

Congrats on that kit Gregory! It's absolutely stunning!

I think we all have a story like that and as long as you learn from it all is well :P

I got my 590 from a guy in Belgium who I did not know or have any info on. "Just bank transfer £1100 to my account and I'll ship the drum" Within 48 hours it was in my hands.............What did I learn? If you REALLY want it then go for it!

I guess there are still some nice genuine people out there :)

Thanks, Ron!

There's a thin line between wisdom and folly... but I have come to depend on God to let me know which is which. Wanting the kit was not enough to make me buy it; it went a good deal deeper than that.

I think even those who do not believe in a personal God come to think in terms of "the rightness of it" or how "it was meant to be," though some may not even sense that; but it doesn't worry me. 8-) :)

All that aside, I am very grateful for this kit; it furthers the efforts I have been making. :) :) :) Now the trick is to get out and PLAY!

Nope. Still got an eye out for it though. I'll keep checking back.

Very well said Gregory. I have absolutely no beliefs when it comes to religion and that is only based on my personal experiences. I think everybody has an inner voice that overall lets you know what's right. If you choose to call that God then it's all good :)

Not only is this a great looking kit, but it came along just as Greg had been changing up his style and metaphysically preparing for its arrival.

My offline comments Greg were:

• Never let go of it
• Call me first, if you do.

Congratulations again, Greg. I know what you have there, and I am thrilled that you have it.

Now awaiting the post in 'They sound like this...'

Applying some intellectual rigor, plenty o' bad has been perpetrated by folks listening to an inner voice. Any more on that topic and we'll be in "Other than drums" rather than "They look like this."

C'mon Gregory...

Both recording and sharing the recordings would be a treat, I'm sure!!!

I for one would LOVE to hear those cymbals in that setup!!!
