The Designers, note the old Tama pedal playing the 16x16 remotely, adds such a nice sonic texture!

That sure answers the bubinga question on the other thread!

Very nice, percusski!. Is the pedal playing the 16 floor?

Thanks for posting.

Thanks guys they're beauties-although the camera on the indoor pics is terrible so doesn't really do them any justice.
Yeah Greg, the floor tom is on a Danmar kickriser and gives a great bebop sound, on the Lites I sometimes use a 13" tom as a bass drum and that has quite a funky effect.
I do a fair bit of work in a friend's recording studio and we recently outfitted it with a Delite kit, 22,10, 12, 16 in champagne sparkle, i'm hoping to track him down an 8 tom (as I always use one ;) ) but let me tell you, the toms on this kit ring like bells, fantastic tone! I'll get some pics when I get a better camera!

So... :? :? :? is there a hidden floor lying on its side, or is it playing the suspended floor in the photo?

EDIT: Oh, now I see the other half of the pedal mechanism, and can sort of detect a radius back there that might be a hoop...

The Delites ring like bells, in contrast to your Designers?

designers are special drums ;) something nice about those really thin shells though...the weight for one.

The 16 is hidden away aimed at the corner of the room with about 2ft of air space to the wall, allows the low frequencies to bounce around a bit more!
