Hey Goki,
2010....old line. But those are Signia Marquis, identified by the badge, diecast hoops and shallow toms.
I do not think that is a wrap. I've seen odd Marquis kits and some Premier fan always says its a wrap but then I see the finish again a few more times. And besides, why didn't he get the snare wrapped to match. The snare is a standard Marquis finish.
Marquis is what I have now as I wait to see what the new Signia line produces.
Good seeing ya brother

I would be shocked if those were actually Gene's drums. I know he endorses and plays Premiers, but I'd bet that was a kit that Premier provided for him for the gig in Germany.

Kelly's right... those are Signia Marquis. I have never seen a Signia Marquis kit in an original wrapped finish, and all the sparkles were sparkle lacquer. But back in the Signia days Premier used to do some custom finish runs for the big music stores like Guitar Center and Mars in the U.S.

- D.

P.S. -- here is a G.L. 2012 rider from another gig. Always interesting to see what these specify!

Drums:
Gene Lake endorses Premier Drums and Remo Drum Heads.
Gene’s Premier representative will contact promoters to coordinate.
If Premier kit is unavailable first alternate is Pearl, second alternate is Yamaha.
-Drum sizes:
22"x 16"kick
14"x 5 Snare and stand
10"x 8" and 12"x 10" toms
16"x 14" floor tom
5 cymbal boom stands
throne and hi hat stand
double bass drum pedal (tama cobra)
- Mics:
o 1 Pair of AKG C451 B for the overheads
o 1 Shure SM57 for the snare
o 1 EVRE 20, Sure Beta 52A or AKG D112 for the bass drum
o 1 additional C451 for hi hat
o Any other necessary mics

I still think it's a wrap.

Reminds me of those cool Premier wraps that were out in the late 90s. I'm sure they've provided something extra special for him this time.

The snare being different means nothing - 90% of the time it's like that....

 Get a room!

Kidding aside, I have no idea what those drums are but they sound great.

For me, a little bit of organ goes a long way, but Joey D is one of the best around today.

Thanks for posting this, Goki

 A little bit of Joey D. goes a long way! :o :o :o

I thought the approach to the organ was interesting. Like Cliff, I'm not a great fan of the instrument. Not sure why; perhaps it was ruined by roller rinks or to much noodling in church. I have learned to tolerate it in church, but in jazz, not so much. Green onions still rocks, so go figure.
