Hey Guys. I'd like to know your opinions on my drum tuning for this video. The kick is a bit clicky, the music I play calls for that sound. Enjoy.

I'm a little distracted by the wide sound stage and I can't get a good sense of the drum set as a whole, but I'm listening through headphones so not a reliable critic. Tuning... you mean the interval between drums?... sounds fine. I like a freer, more lively drum tone - as a personal preference - but if that's what the music calls for... :D

I hope that is helpful.

Hey Greg

Tough to say without hearing them in the context that you intend to use them in, but standing alone, you have posted samples of this kit with other heads and tunings that I have liked better.

I have heard your kit have nice warmth, and I miss that here.

Thanks guys. The sound in the video is what I wanted it fits the music right now that I'm playing. Although the coated G2's are far superior than the clear, in terms of versatility. Heavily distorted midrange guitars with screaming loud vocals have the tendency to block out the sound of my toms when tuned open and warm.

Third Rail might be a good band name.
