Loosening up for yet another audition coming Sunday.
Another working band with a couple disc's out. Really like these guys.
I have to bring my kit, so this is the setup I'm going with. No 3rd tom, no double pedal.
And a whole bunch of noise.
Have I mentioned I love these drums :)

Wasn't thrilled with the new snare I got, sent it back, so I had to bite the bullet and do the work on my old one. I like it here but still would like to tweak it more.

Best recording yet.

Is that 8 / 10 racks?

Sure is Cliff. That's what I'm going with.
Thanks for watching my friend.

Sounds awesome! 8, 10, 14, 16 toms? Sounds like me... I struggle with using 12 and 13 toms. Too big over my BD and too hard to get tuned just right.

BTW - Kelly can you tell me about what good (cheaper) digital video recorders are out there? Are you using a Zoom?

- D.

Thank you Gregory.

Yes David, it is a zoom recorder. These things are incredible and ridiculously easy to use.
Honestly, these drums are so thick sounding the 8,10 are possible for me. Couldn't get it to work on a lot of other kits where the 8 was too weak and more like an accent/concert tom.

Hell thanks for watching Goki. I personally can only watch a video once, when I'm in it.
Maybe I should put something up that is concentrating more on the sound of the kit. These are pretty lose recordings.
