This is another installment of 30 Seconds To Mars drum covers, this song is called "Attack".
I didn't tighten the right crash very well, it rotates clockwise throughout the video. Look carefully and you'll see the K logo, followed by Steve Gadd's autograph, then the Session Crash logo several times throughout the video.
Enjoy,
Greg

Looks like you're getting into the drama of the thing, Greg. :) I keep thinking 30 seconds is the length of the video, and can't understand how it goes on for 3' 50''.

Where crashes are concerned - and rides, too, for that matter -leaving them loose as a goose gives them more freedom of sound, and I daresay, if you hit them hard, improved durability.

I got pretty excited when playing this song, for some reason it moved me. :)

Thanks for the tip, I don't want to lose my finesse.

Damn Greg I love these videos! The more I hear these zildjian cymbals the more curious I am to try them sometime. I've never hit one since starting drumming. Too obsessed with getting some meinl right now.

Thanks Ron for your comment. I'm working on another one, but its long and has a lot of changes whew! Not as heavy as the other videos either. I've only played Zildjian, but I really love the Meinl stuff as well. Thanks again.

There must be a point where a critical mass of Youtube videos catapults a guy into stardom. Will you still be speaking to us, or just thanking us for our comments? :P

Might be time to find a few other youtube players and edit together a band, Greg? ;)
