Well it's great to be back int the States. We played a few gigs in Columbia and Ecuador. The venues were old opera houses, basilicas, bullrings and municpial gyms. The crowds ranged from 2000 to 8000 depending on the venue. The bullring gig was in the "Plaza del Toros" in Cali, Columbia. We got about an hour into the set and then the sky broke open. :? It was crazy.

For those of you who play and sing, you know how much you can get winded on some songs trying to drive the beat and hit the high parts. The older one gets it doesn't get any easier. I had my first experience at trying this at 11,000 ft. in the Andes. I was literally getting light headed. I hope I played and sang ok because all I can remember is trying to gasp for air and make it to the end of the song without dying. :o  :o

Roland, your venues have captured my imagination. Must be fantastic. Love to see half of what you must have seen.

Congratulations on the tour Roland!!!

Any pictures would be more than appreciated...

After a while, I too started singing while drumming... It's very difficult to focus if you can't hear yourself well...

A correction is in order. The areas around where we played in Ecuador were at 11,000 ft. The venue we played at was a mere 9000 ft. I am such a wimp to be gasping at 1.7 miles altitude.

I hate to admit it, but I am so bad at posting pics. :( I will ask my son to help me accomplish this task Goki.
