That is is how it feels, Goki.
I played that Rogers kit almost exclusively from 1971 to 1998, and was completely bonded with it. Still am.
I liked the bubinga Designers when I first got them, but it took a year or two before they were 'mine'.
Now that they are, it was just so fortunate for a walnut roots replica to come along, so that is less effort to have that feel in the studio and at gigs.
