Very nice photo, Greg.

I don't believe I saw your stick raised above your head before.

I know. I suspect that I am a good deal more animated playing live.

I don't know why but I'm inordinately pleased with these photos, but they seem to capture the intensity I experience when playing. Here's another mystery pose:

Looks like You're having GREAT time while playing Gregory - and that's what counts, my friend!!!

Wonderful photos - they capture happy moments...

This is a gig, or a concert?!?

Thanks, Goki. The photos are from the concert we payed several weeks ago.

English is a flexible language, to say the least. "Gig" can mean anything, from an awful job to a pleasant hobby. Musically, I use it to mean any prearranged performance in a public venue (i.e,. not when playing spontaneously at a party to which I was invited as a guest). Someone might even call rehearsals a gig, as in the sentence, "I'd ask you over to dinner, but you've got that regular gig on Mondays and Wednesdays."

Greg,
Whoever is doing your videos and your photo's, keep them around. They are always top notch.
The top pic is a framer for the living room wall for sure. You look like you are playing an arena.

English can be a funny language.

What David means, I think, is that he wants so badly to play that cymbal set-up.
:?

   That is funny, Cliff. When I read David's post, I confess to having gone back to the photos to try to see them through his eyes. They really are blue like that underneath when you plug them in.! 8-)

Thanks so much for enjoying the photos, guys. I already said that I'm not sure why they please me so much, because I am not responsible for anything to do with them other than doing what I like best! Thinking about it, I suppose that the pictures seem to capture a synthesis of all that I have been working on for the last few years, a freer and more musical style, and the focus and joy that brings out.
