:D

Yes, it went great. I haven't had enough energy hardly to turn the computer on, let alone to think or communicate, and I had to get some work done yesterday.

The gig was a breeze, but loading in and out was unbelievable, and setup went on forever, for some reason. Next time we play at Alley Stage, I've got to hire an equipment guy! It's about a three hundred yard up-hill slog to get to the stage, and even with rolling carts, that takes a toll.

The night was exquisite - 70º and no wind, clear skies, you couldn't ask for better. The band played well, and the audience was enthusiastic. The only problem I have, in fact the problem I have every time we p]ay out, is that I want to do it at least twice a week. In this day and age, and given where we live, that may never happen.

Makes you feel old, don't it? ;)

Nowadays if I play a 4 hour rock n roll gig, I feel like I've been through a prize fight with Mike Tyson. And I need a cigar on the way home so I don't fall asleep at the wheel!

Many were taken, but we have yet to see the consequences. Post some as soon as I see 'em.

Sounds like a great gig, except for the haul.

Small wheels over inclined soft bumpy surfaces is not a formula for a quick and easy load in/out

Three hundred yards of this, and I'm thinking four wheel drive.

No kidding. After the gig, I did the verboten, and drove my car up the grassy slope on private property behind the stage and loaded out. My mom may have raised an outlaw, but she didn't raise a complete fool.

Dunno.

Sounds like a 50/50 mix.

Sorry, Greg. It was a softball, just hanging and hanging...
