Yup - it happened this Friday (10-06-2011)

First time OUT of the country, in the neighboring Kosovo capital - Prishtina (some 90km north of my town Skopje)...

A wonderful place called HAMAM JAZZ BAR. http://www.hamamjazz.com/?cid=1,9

We played as Josephine's Suspenders. I was also the official band driver (since I don't drink) :D
The congas and drums were from the club - a Yamaha Stage Custom bop set (all birch shells, but made in China), and Tycoon congas. I must admit the stock heads gave me trouble a bit, but, with a handkerchief and a tape - the floor tom sounded quite well.

Some pics from the event (there's the "Goki Face", don't worry  ):

The band with the Club manager - a very nice and pleasant guy.

All in all - a wonderful time spent out of the country... :)

Nice group of smiling faces in the last photo - says it all.

Like the shot of the the Somor T shirt over the Yamaha logo.

Cool, Goki! Thanks for all the pics. Looks like a great place to play. Congratulations on spreading the band's name around; that must feel pretty good.

The manager of the club (the guy in the middle).

You already know Marta, and the "sonor" geek...
The guys on the right are the guitar player (far right) and bass player (2nd from the right)...

But, THAT's OBVIOUS from one of the pictures...

 I'm a sugar junkie...

The trip was 2 hours - which is not much... :)

All in all, it was a great experience. I do hope we'll return in autumn...

Great shots Goki,

It is always a thrill playing in another country and letting the music communicate for everyone. Congratulations on what appears to have been a fun gig. Did any of those ceiling thingys fall on the band?
