I listened to it, Nick, although I can't get all the way through it, I can tell a lot of work and proficiency went into it. Congrats on the accomplishment and good luck with the project!

Awesome work, Nick :D . Sounds incredible.
Which genre would YOU say best fits the band. I know its Prog Rock, but its got more balls than the majority of Prog Rock.

I like it, even on my shite laptop speakers, well done ;) :D

I love it Nick. Not in the "I'd buy the album" sense. I understand the generation gap but I don't understand the generation.
Those types of vocals lose me instantly but I can listen behind that and appreciate the talent. I love that it's you and I can get behind that.
Curious as to why you use the lites for this project.

Although I don't know this genre, the production is great, and the picture with the Sonorlites in the back is awesome!!!

Jeff, I think it would be classified as progressive metal (don't you just hate all these genres?) if you listened to just drums keys and bass soloed it sounds like fusion, think Holdsworth or Chick Corea electric band, then add the heavy guitars and vocals.

Kelly I'd like to see that dance lol, generationally Mahavishnu Orchestra and Zappa are a big influence for this band and that stuff is 30+ years old. The Lites were just sounding so good at the time, a dryer sound and the 20" bass drum I wanted to use for the more jazzy sections - just wanted that flexibility rather than a big 22x18 which would stylistically make it sound too 'metal' maybe? The Chapman stick you can see a picture of it in the vid - we're going to put a video up soon with the bass player running through a track on it, it's kind of a bass and guitar together string wise - Tony Levin of Peter Gabriel and King Crimson fame uses one.

Goki yes it's amazing what you can do as a homemade production nowadays, except for artwork and mastering everything was done by the band. Yeah I love that picture of the Lites!

for Greg, this is our bass player running through one of the tracks on Chapman Stick, the stick has been brought forwards in the mix, great sound!
