How often do you guys change your resonant heads? Do you think it’s important?

Long time, really, And longer between changes as I get older, since the years go by so quickly.

A good test, however. Strike your unmounted reso, and do the same on a fresh one. Plastic embrittles with time and they will lose tone.

Thanks Greg. I put new clear Ambassadors on my resonant tom sides yesterday and was amazed at the sound improvements. :D
