Finally got around myself (thanks for the bump, Kel). The drums sound really good; those thick heads sound sleek and fat. Makes me jealous that I can't record with that much sonic separation and head oriented sound, but hey! I'm not willing to buy the rig and then spend the time learning how to make it all work. :P  :P So H4 it is. 8-)

Thanks Gregory. Yeah recording equipment (pro type) is very expensive, with a lengthy learning curve. I took several years off from drumming to learn how to record. Now the drummer within is overshadowing the recording engineer within. Finally!

Thanks to Kelly and Greg for bumping this. I saw it before I hit the road, but the it slipped through the cracks before I got a chance to listen.

Greg P,

Very nice recording! ;)

Am I hearing an electronic metronome in the background?

WOW!! Great ears Cliff. I forgot to turn off the studio monitor speakers when I recorded this. My Overhead mics are picking it up slightly. Although sometimes my washing machine during the spin cycle, can be heard by the Overheads as well. :)

My washing machine makes my entire house shake when it's on full spin! I can't stand being in the kitchen with it now!
