Heard of it but never tried them, not necessary on a Sonor with tunesave. I play only Sonor :lol:

Looks like current tune safe, but done in reverse, so that the friction material is replaceable without replacing the enrire lug.

The note below is included in the FAQ section:

"NOTE: TightScrews do not fit Sonor products fitted with slotted head tension rods but will fit Sonor products fitted with standard 12-24 thread tension rods."

I thought this review was interesting. Never considered that allowing the head to detune unevenly created premature wear...
