Adam Deitch is one of my favorite funk drummers. I had no idea he had such a good teacher living in his house! It's cool when they switch (at 7 min. mark) and Adam shows how he expanded on some of his dads old licks. :)

Kinda nice, perhaps, having a built in drum teacher. Drums are more infectious, I think, than other instruments. Kids always want to bang on them, no matter whether we have aptitude. Every young person I have ever known has been drawn to them.
