I wasn't paying attention and bought the wrong weight FiberSkyn for my 22
It's gonna have to stay. Bass drumheads are not cheap.

That sucks.

What did you get? What did you want?

Can you return it?

Kel,

Isn't it irritating as all hell!?!

I did this a few months back with some tom heads...

Hopefully you can get the sound you want out of that head though!!!

I wanted a Diplomat not an Ambassador weight. I pulled it out of the box in the store to check it too. They don't put on them what they are. It's two little tiny freaking letters that signify what it is.

Thanks Justin. How aggravating. As soon as I hit the drum I went....hmmm. Went and googled the number they got on it and thought, "yup, exactly what it should sound like".
I dunno Cliff. I probably could because they know me so well there but don't know if I'll bother. It's on the dam drum now.
I'd like to stop turning keys and play the dam thing.
It's good to have two kits :D

Hey, Kel. Ambassador weight is the reso I use, and I love it. Diplomat would be interesting, but I haven't felt the need to experiment.

Yeah well, now I got both lol.
Amb on the 20 and Diplo on the 22.
Really like the Amb on the 20 and wanted to keep the 22 from getting to "stuffed" sounding. It sounds fine but these little things make me nuts. Really wanted to stay thin with the reso's.

Gonna take me a while to get this right in my head.

The 22" is Signia kit; Marquis is 20?

Yes odd isn't it.
Signia Marquis and Signia. When they are not Marquis they are known as regular Signia.

Yes they are. And yes I meant Diplo on the 20 and Amb on the 22. Sorry.

Markings on the head:
For Diplomat it's FD
For Ambs it's FA

Tiny little letters, I had no idea what they meant. Obvious now isn't it
