Prayers said, fingers crossed and 14 Hail Mary's.
It's a craiglist ad in boston, he doesn't list sizes but by the one pic it definitely looks like a 18" deep kick.
Sent a message, waiting on a response. Would have a long way to go to work it out yet, shipping, payment etc but....hoping.
Went up yesterday....great price too.

Kelly,

I have seen that kit! I went to a Halloween party last year in a club in Everett (north of Boston) and this Signia kit is elevated on this riser about 15 feet in the air! That's where the guy keeps it. I talked to him about it... I think he bought it right off the floor of a Guitar Center after a clinic or something. I seem to remember he said that one or more pieces took a fall off the riser at one point but he told me he dodged a bullet and there was no real damage. He seemed like a straight up guy. Probably a better thing discussed over the phone. You might want to get some decent pics from him.

The sizes were just too big for me.

Good luck,

- David

PS -- I'm busy as hell right now but let me know if there's any way I can assist

That's him.
He responded and I have asked him to call me. Will he remember you?
I really just want the kick but would look into taking the other pieces.

BUY MY MARQUIS (this is your conscience speaking)

K...we are speaking. He is going today to measure the drums as he doesn't know the sizes.
Adding another 4 hail mary's.

Hard for me to remember the sizes and the pic isn't great, but I would guess 22x18, 12x10, and maybe 16x14 or 16x16 FT? If I recall I don't think the snare matches finish-wise... I think it's natural maple like your Marquis kit?

I don't know if he'd remember me... you can tell him I was at a Halloween costume party thrown by a woman named "Janelle" at the bar last October. I was dressed as "Sonny" of Sonny and Cher. I know that's way too much information, but I'm too old to be embarrassed by much anymore!

The scary evidence is here... http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1665528122431&set=t.1328380889&type=3&theater. Cher was my girlfriend Sarah who looks incredible for 50yo.

hahahahaha. Thanks for that David.

K...it's a 24 x 18 kick. Not so great, so I made an offer and he took it because it has a 13 and a 16 floor tom, could use them both.

Obviouosly not enough hail marys. I won't quit until I find a 20 x 18 Walnut. shut up cliff.

Good score. Wait til he finds out what it costs to ship that 24" BD! Any box bigger than 26" length is a major overcharge these days.
