Congrats Goki. Really great pictures. Those things are beautiful looking.
I'm curious, do you purchase these listening to sound files or is there a place you got to try them?
Or do you just read the description for the different series?

Thanx Kelly,

I've purchased them based on video clips I've heard, the catalog (description regarding sound), and a second opinion from Cliff... :)

There was no chance of me testing them and getting them...


The only time I've played DIRILs before, was at Cliff's home, in 2013... :)

Yeah sometimes you just have to take a chance with cymbals, I took a gamble on an 18" Istanbul mehmet turk crash having only heard a 16" sound file, but it was heavily reduced in price...Don't know if I'd chance a whole set , but I'm not sure I'd go for a complete same set anyway.

I'm curious to know if there is/was any correlation between Murat Diril and Ibrahim Diril.
Either of which are virtually impossible to get down here in Oz.
I'll just have to stick with my Bosphorus gear.
