Emps are warmer/depth. G2's are on the plasticky/shallow side.

That's why I think clear G2's would be great for me, because I love that sticky attack. It cuts through the music that I play quite nicely!

Yeah, my thoughts exactly on the comparison between them both.

Gunnar, was just thinking bout you.

Greg, it should be noted I have no experience with the coated version of any of these.
It also should be noted that Emps are getting to be a pain in the ass to get. Always have to chase one or two sizes down on the net when I rehead.

I wonder why they're hard to get.

In essence, the principles of supply and demand are such that although impervious to kryptonite  the nature of all factors being considered are some what dubious in terms of "gettin' your sound" such that inasmuch as we try, all heads are not created within the stress limits of most atmospheric conditions in the current economy by virtue of the fact that it is an election year after all. :o

LMAO
Out of stock?? ha

Well, it would be best for me to stop in a shop and get heads. Hate getting them on line.
Since Forks in Knoxville closed I only have GC now. I think they carry the things they just pay zero attention to their restocking policy. If they even have one.
When I go tell the guy he is out of them he goes typing into the computer and with a completely puzzled look on his face announces "uh, says we have one".
