The badge is "weird" to say, at least... Here's the info: "Hello, Mr. Hausmann was a fantastic German guy that got married with a Bolivian lady, Mrs. Ana Maria, more than 30 years; He was a great Jazz musician with a great project in Bolivia, to help children into percussions. He was a drum teacher in the Centro Boliviano Americano in Santa Cruz Bolivia for several years; he died two and a half years ago with cancer, Mrs. Ana Maria wasn´t ready to sale this drums that was storage for more than 6 years until now. What I know is that Mr. Hausmann was a very good friend of Horst Link and Prof. Hans Bergese that used to work in SONOR since 1950´s and they build this set up designer series especially for his friend Mr.Hausmann. I am not sure if there is a datestamps in the shell, but I will check on monday (I don´t have the drums with me right now), I am helping Mrs. Ana Maria to sale this item, what I know is that shells are thick and in perfect conditions. I am sending pictures on monday thanks for asking..." So, there was a guy who knew a guy who...... And that's how the JD story of having HILITE birch drums is VERY TRUE!!! |
