... as a decade when instrument manufacturers were starting to go cheap (especially guitars), moving production to Asia, using inferior woods, electronics, etc. And then I see this and I think... Wow... Sonor was not going that route at all and was creating some of the greatest (and most beautiful) drums and hardware ever! The 80's was the era of turning businesses into money pumps. Sonor got the memo rather more recently. |

I was lucky enough to have one given to me by Lane (sonordrug)when I bought Signatures from him. Gotta agree with you that it would sure be nice to have these drums with some less dampening mounts. |

The catalogue is starting to fall apart, because I still rifle through it for informational purposes. Unlike you guys, I never had the mounts. |
