NIce looking kit. I prefer Designer stuff but can understand the desire of Sonor to back off from the rather idiosyncratic engineering and attention to detail the Designer hardware demands. What is difficult to understand, coming from the company that made the beautiful and functional tom-mounting system that began with the teardrops and found its fullest form in the Signature series, is the visual of the bass-mounted 600 series tom holder that some people seem to prefer over the Designer track mount. Every time I see it, I see, instead, this:
- I guess the familiarity comes from a lifetime of visiting thousands of sites of institutional plumbing - all positioned, more or less, at eye level.
