The Star Walnut kit sounds A LOT like a Saturn kit. Always had an interest in Tama. Never got around to taken the leap. I'm so outdated, it's impossible to find one of the top manufactures that offer a 10x9,12x10..... Saw a video of Thomas Lang and his new kit....10x4, 12x5, 13x6....WOW |

To think if he wanted a couple smaller toms for his kit, they would be 8 x 3 And a 6 x 2 LOL |

Yeah the new gimmick short sizes....Was looking at Cobham's kit on the Tama site, big sizes although slightly 'fast' sizes.. I do like the idea of a shorter 12 but only so it fits comfortably on a 22 bass drum. |
