Hey Everybody, Just had to tell you all I just received my Artist bronze snare drum a few days ago and i'm absolutely blown away with it! Tried a few heads on it already and it just sings no matter how hard you beat it or tickle it. Slapped a Evans hybrid marching head on it this afternoon and it was like a rifle going off! Perfect for my newest project. Anybody else got one in here? Would be interested in your thoughts on it. |

Hey Ron, I haven't bought or used anyting but a wood snare for years, but f I recally correctly, I think Gunnar has an Artist bronze as well. If you can, I would like to hear a sound clip of it. Congratulation on the score. |

Congratulations, Ron! Bronze has its own following, but I've never gotten close enough to one to develop an opinion. |

Thanks guys Will see about getting a sound clip recorded soon. My neighbours are moving out in a few weeks and hopefully the new ones won't move in right away! Little bit of time to get my SQ2 kit setup and mic'd etc! |

Congrats Ron, I've never owned a Cast Bronze snare , had a couple of Phosphor Bronze Tamas, but they are a completely different animal. Can you let us know your opinions/preferences on the differences between this drum, and the deeper HLD590. Congrats again, Cheers |
