SClass Pro's. Greatest drums in the world. Haven't found a head that don't work on them yet but I put a fresh coat of G2's on them and loving every minute of it. Brace yourself for another video soon Forever indebted to my long time Sonor/drum/life buddy who passed these on to me without strings and much love. |

Goki wrote: If I remember correctly, You always had a thing for the S Class series... Wait. Hold on a minute. Kelly likes S Class Pros?! Really?... I thought he liked Sigs and was really, really fond of beech drums? Aren't the Pros, like maple or something?!! |

Just to be clear Goki, SClass Pros. The 1st gen SClass kits don't even come close. Night and day. I'm sure you know that. I have to say it for the hundreds that troll our forum. They could actually be ready to purchase and we need to keep the info clear. |

And the dryness of the S-Class Pros thin Maple shells were NOT my cup of tea. Give me thick Beech anyday, and Old School, Kel, heavy 80's German gear, Cheers |

Give me thick Beech anyday, and Old School, Kel, heavy 80's German gear, Cheers Yup - first generations S Class snares sounded way better to me than the S Class Pros... Unfortunately, I've NEVER had a first generation S Class set, to compare it with my friend's S Class Pros... But, Jeff is right - compared to the Hilites or Delites, the sound was a bit dry... Nevertheless - I consider the S Class (all generations) as a great on-the road pro maple set... |
