Let me know if you're bidding, no sense bidding against one another and raising the price. Hate that. |

I just don't get it at all. I mean are they gonna sound like they are worth $49000?!?! Nah I'm guessing they will sound a bit like playing cardboard boxes! Kelly wrote: Let me know if you're bidding, no sense bidding against one another and raising the price. Hate that.

Drum collector subculture, not necessarily players, with money. Not sure he's gonna get the asking price, but it gives world-wide advertising. |

I'm surprised they made 15 of them. But I suppose there were plenty of Circus' around in that era . Look great being played by a Monkey http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_CoN-0dL6_hY/S ... rummer.gif |

Seems to me redolent of the era. Were I a collector, that would be about as neat a prize as I can imagine, short of a kit with pedigreed ownership. Here's a guy who commisioned a single ply kit, made with Slingerland beavertail lugs and Rogers Swiv-o-matic hardware, and covered with that finish. Wonder what that cost him! His avatar suggests ownership of one of the old sets, although I don't know. http://www.drumforum.org/index.php?/top ... phat-cane/ |
