Picked this up from the museum site: can't help but wonder if this was his idea or Sonors? Looks like standard DeJohnette configuration, but shorter toms, perhaps? http://sonorusa.com/sonorblog/2011/09/j ... w-sq2-kit/ |

Looks fantastic!!! Thanks for sharing Gregory... So, this is WALNUT ROOTS (lacquered) right?!? It looks (to me) much different from the S Classix... |

Only different, I think, by virtue of the gloss clear coat, no? |

It looks like one less drum than the set-up I have usually seen. This looks like 8/10/12/14/16, and if that is correct, the 13 looks to have been omitted. Cymbals, presumably, have been minimized to showcase the druns. |

You're right. Maybe They gave him what They wanted. But then look at his Designer setup in the Designer brochure: 10,12,13,14 hanging and a 16 floor. |

It's not like Sonor has a great track record getting sizes right these days I wonder if he will get them in one piece |

Love it Tim! I can't help but think Sonor begged him to take possession of an SQ2 kit. Just ain't looking good playing all the older stuff. |
