Nice drum sounds for sure, esp. the snare! FWIW, I don't like the cymbal sounds at all.... all high end frequencies and no beef. But then again, I hate most digitally recorded cymbal sounds anyway. - D. |

Hey David, Clip definitely sounds good, but significantly processed. Not sure that digital recording is to blame for the cymbals sounding as they do, or for any lack of 'beef' in digital recording in general. I suspect it is the combination of A Customs (which I perceive as being intended to emphasize high frequency), compression and some high frequency enhancement. |

Nice track, a bit like KD Lang, but the drummer looks like he's having a great time! Sounds like good bottom end on the bass drum on my monitors, but yes a little bright on the EQing of the cymbals. The drums are mixed prominently so sitting over the bass rather than with it so that could make it sound a little weaker maybe? |

Listening with monitor speakers, but I like 2 things: - his positive approach to playing - an old drumset that's been played and well taken care off - that makes it sound great... |

Way too much top end Eq on the overheads, just doesn't sound pleasant IMO. |
