Never got involved with these things, but always liked to watch them. This kid (17 yrs. old) is off the map! Maybe it's the result of a life spent with a joystick in your hands, but I think the principles of flight are being violated.

Dunno, but Bernoulli must be spinning in his grave. Flight in fixed wing aircraft is produced by air speed creating lift on the top side of the wing. Helicopters lift by virtue of thrust from propeller force.

This kid seems to have learned how to make a fixed wing craft do both. Perhaps the power to weight ratio of the model allows it to do what a real plane could not.
