Just curious if other folks are getting notices in e-mail when they get a PM? I'm not getting any, even though my preferences are set to do so. I used to get them.

I use Google mail if that matters.

Going back to the SM, this site is junk.

I didn't know what mine was set at. So I went to look.
Tooling around in the "Preferences" section I learned I speak "British English"
and you can choose board layout, either ProSilver or SubSilver2. Trying the latter, it's different, I guess Prosilver is default.
No idea what happened to SubSilver1.

Forget it, Kel. You have no choice in the matter. :P

For nearly 3 years, the board has been getting a couple thousand spambot 'sign-up' attempts per week.

It used to be that my email address got a notification of a new 'sign-up', awaiting activation. That stopped.

I am guessing that at some point, the forum or the server farm was deemed to be a spam source and, email messages from the forum server have been blocked. :(

Dunno for sure, but that's what I do know, with my theory added.

Mine, too, and I'm considered upper management.

Not exactly like your day job...

They will write you a check for being there.

p.s. Check your PM's. Not that there are any - just practical advice.
;)
