This kit:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sonor-SQ2-High- ... 35c0118616

comes with 9 of these

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sonor-Designer- ... 27cb6305f8

so the drums themselves are a mere $2925 :ugeek:

A refreshingly positive view of the situation. ;)

Somewhere recently I have also seen SQ2 badges for sale for an unbelievably stupid price as well.

Apparently the Designer badges sound better; hence this fully outfitted beauty of a kit. :?

I have always maintained that the Phonic badges had the truest fundamental tone with greater shine and fewer calories. :o ;)

That's because the Phonic badges are made of real metal...

So, now I can order an SQ2 set with S Classix badges too?!?!?

I knew that the 18" bd was more than an S Classix... :ugeek:

The new SQ2 badges are "pre-engineered" metal veneer, not the real deal. They don't sound nearly as good.

Sonor people have completely lost their minds. Seriously.
150 for a Designer badge?

Right now on Ebay:

Signature bass drum badge 200 bucks
Signature 16ft 1500 bucks
Signature 14x14 tom 800 bucks
Signature 14x6.5 Snare 1700

So lets see....I could have a 14 up, 16ft down and a matching snare for....4000 bucks.
And an invisable bass drum for another 200.

Seriously, get the f out of here.
