Sad to see yesterday that Andy Johns had passed away.

I know him best for his work with the Rolling Stones, but he was pretty influential in a lot of places, including the 'Bonham sound', etc.

A very talented, highly respected engineer and producer is gone at a fairly young age.

Thanks, Andy, for all the great stuff I have listened to.

These are the "shadow" guys -the ones that made that huge sound difference and helped propel stars...

To play it is tuff, but to make it sound good isn't easy either!!!!!!!!!!
