Happy 4th, gentlemen.

Freedom is on the run, but it's not down, and today I will be reading the Declaration of Independence. One of my ancestors, God bless him, risked being hanged by the neck as a traitor to the Crown for signing that document, and we're letting it erode as if it never was really that big a deal.

I am not happy about our current administration's assaults on liberty, particularly its aggressive attack on the First Amendment and religious liberty.

I pray for my country, for if the United States fails in liberty, who then will take up the banner?

To Greg’s point, it is those giving birth that do the work and endure the risk and suffering while those born receive a great gift and with an obligation to do something with the gift they have received.

Celebrate the birth of your rights and freedom today, and more importantly, rise above inconvenience every day to exercise, preserve and protect those rights with an eye towards keeping them undiminished for generations to come.

Many good people have taken great risk and paid high prices for rights and liberties all too often taken for granted today.

Happy Birthday, America. ;)

Let’s keep our eye on the ball!

Happy 4th of July to everybody out there... :D

Times are tuff everywhere - since it's more than obvious that we're moving towards global control.
But, people still have a chance to stand up for what belongs to them:
- freedom
- independence
- better way of life
- love

Whether we'll cherish what our predecessors fought for - we'll see in the years to come...

While I can tell that I probably don't agree with Greg about many things politically, I think we can probably agree that the amount freedom we live with in the U.S., combined with protection from terrorists, is probably the best in the world. Boston had a tough Spring this year and this 4th of July was particularly meaningful out here. It was great to see my girlfriend Sarah singing with the Boston Pops last night, and there were some other great performers joining them as usual. Hot as Hades, but better than all the rain we've had. in the past weeks.

Have a great weekend all!

Just got back in from our annual MN trip. Great great fun we had up there.
I won't cast a gloom and comment on the direction I think this country is headed.
Truly hope you all enjoyed in good health and good spirits.

Gregory....got your message...I'll give you and Cliff a shout tomorrow.
