How is everyone? Can't believe this year's almost gone!
Anyone got musical plans for next year, playing, gear etc?...I've reached a stage where I don't need any gear...rarely even scan on ebay anymore...still quite fancy an extra dry crash through ;)

Nick

Hey Nick,

I’m with you. I don’t know where the year went to.

Also in the same place in regards to equipment. There is really nothing major that I am looking for.

Playing wise, I hope that 2014 will have me reviving the trio, after having put it on the back burner during much of 2013. It had reached the point of being more work than fun, and needed to be put aside for a while as Teri and I turned efforts towards going racing.

We have gotten over the initial hurdle of getting a car together and getting it sorted out, and I am feeling recharged enough to recruit the right players and get going again.

great stuff Cliff, a change of personnel always does wonders to reinvigorate a group!

I'm not yet done with 2013. Next week, we'll see. It's 15 below outside and kind of hard to ignore, because the ice climbs on in through the closed windows and makes its home indoors.

I once experienced forty below, but that was too cold to talk about unless you're dressed for it.

I have no idea, all I did was get one house ready, move into another one and get that working. Took most of the year, absolutely not happening again any time soon.
Like you guys, need nothing except drumheads. Hope to step up gigging and maybe take a couple short tours.
Happy Holidays All!
Stay warm Greg!

I don't care. Glad it's over. The ups and downs weren't properly balanced this year. Good riddens. Praying for a better 2014.
For all of us.

Drums.....I took up bass.

Thanks, Nick. It's been a tough year for a lot of people.

Drum-wise, I have very little need, although I still have a few cymbal sounds I'd like to find one day. Now I have studio gear desire, but nothing more than a set of reference speakers and a cube, and a few wires, stands, and two more sets of decent headphones. Other than that, I'm good to go.

I am sure hoping 2014 is a better year economically, because it can't get much worse and still keep eating. Nonetheless, I am grateful for all the small things that don't add up to much at the bank but that make life a rich experience. High among those are the love of friends, without whom - I include everyone here - life would be much drier.
