Between the last 7 1/2 years of the Obama administration and the inevitability of either Trump of Clinton for the next four, I am feeling incrementally less independent, but more understanding of the mindset that led to the risks America's forefathers took.

Indeed. Watching the fireworks above my building last night, wondering if some are celebrating the neutering of independence and the will required to maintain it. Many at the time argued against it. One of my ancestors signed his name, along with the 55 others, to his own death warrant.

It sure is feeling this way.
I find myself thinking lately with great realization of exactly what our forefathers fought for and went through.
I ask myself if we would have what it takes to do it again. I think not.
Whatever the answer is, either way, I see an ugly future for this country.

I'm not a trump supporter as much as I am a Hillary hater. But at this point, I don't see any one person in any office changing the course we are set to travel down. I can see one person in office speeding the trip up.
