Teri, Charlie and I just finished a nice visit with Kelly and his family. His daughter is even cuter this year than last. Kelly is buried under a pretty busy personal schedule these days, but still made time for our families to visit together and for he and I to set up play together for quite a while. Pretty interesting combination of a jazz guy and a rock guy feeding off each others’ ideas, and having a great time in the process. Kelly’s wife seemed most amazed and amused that Charlie just laid down behind my stool and slept through it all. No surprises to me – he has done the same through me practicing, band rehearsals and even on gigs, for years. |

Wonderful pics Cliff. Thanks for posting them, I'm sure you had a great time with Kelly. My old bassett hound use to sleep through my practice sessions. Maybe he was bored of my drumming! |

Goki, There is a noticeable difference in sound and feel compared to day one. Unfortunately, no sound files were created. |

Crap! I should have looked around before I posted. Thought you would still be on the road. Okay...I'll move mine over here. One quick comment about those Dirils: Those things WERE made for him. I really don't think anyone else could make music on those like he can. *Done. Merged em. |
