I just read that a winter storm will hit most of the US states... I just hope there won't be any severe damage from the weather... So, how are You coping with the situation?!? I hope and pray everything will be as usual this winter - back here, the weather is nuts - 3 day extreme cold, then sunshine, then snow, then sunshine, then rain... Awful - no wonder almost half the people I know have gone down with the flue... I too have been sick for almost a month. I feel fine, and then after several days the running nose and the cough start... Boooring... |

I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling well, Goki. Those lingering illnesses really take the stuffing out. Lily has had pneumonia for about a month, and is getting better but still far from fine. WInter here has been like, well, Winter. Not extra cold - yet - and not more snow than usual. Don't know; I hear that the South has been hit with cold, and obviously snow, which is a little unusual but not unheard of. I cope by skiing every day. It's rough, and I know most of the world feels sad for me, but somebody's got to do it. |

Hi Guys, Considering this is Colorado, it has been fairly mild with very little snow in the front range. Temps have been average to above average. However, as of Monday. Al Gore's Global Warming took effect. When I leave work in a couple of hours it will be -19°F Brian |

Sorry to hear of the flu, I have been kinda suffering from something like it since Thanksgiving. It's been a real yo-yo here in Colorado, which is not a surprise. Super warm until a day or two in each direction of New Years-where it got really, really cold-below freezing. Warmed up again for a week-was in shorts and riding my bike. Snow and cold again. Warmed up and then got sub cold, didn't go above 0℉ for a few days. Kinda got warm and now it's 5℉ again with several inches of snow. AHHH!! |

Back here, it got from 17℉ to 60℉ in 3 days... And now we have a lot of sun, but the mornings are still cold... Looks like we'll have another snowy period next week... My oh my - what a weather... At least the flu is gone, and I'm almost back to normal. The cough is still here though... :S |

False joy - Had a very inspiring gig Friday night - me, Marta on percussion, our former bass player, and his friend on flute... Lots of improvisation, several standards (caravan, night in tunisia etc.) and a couple of bass player's own compositions... The crowd was extremely happy... Our guitar player (that plays with us at the moment) came also, and stepped in for the last 3 songs... Great fun... But, Saturday was hell - within an hour I've managed to came down with a terrible combination of flu and fever (it's the latest virus on our home market ). High temperature tortured me for 60 hours non-stop. And for things to be even worse - Marta got sick Sunday night... So, I'm now BACK in bed, on sick leave - the fewer and temperature is gone, but my lungs are a mess... Wonderful... |
