Ran across it in the news today. Tried to watch it. Couldn't. If this is the best America has to offer, and if this represents how we see ourselves, then perhaps we deserve to join the ash heap. A paean to emptiness, glitter posing as glory, hypnosis through undulating reproductive plumbing, musical vapidity. Flipping the bird is rude and crass, but compared to women lying on their backs, legs spread and waving out-of-work vaginas at heaven? Does anyone actually find that sort of thing appealing, or is it just because no one any longer knows what else to do? All that was missing were a few Christians to provide sport for tamed lions. Lacking even the saving grace of being original. |
