May be a perfectly legitimate offering, but it sure looks like a black hole. The background in the photographs, the language, the owner's handle, no stated location, and the curious nature of two kits - one wood, one metal - both available individually in the same auction, would all worry me. I purchased an ASBA Caroline pedal brand new in the early 1980s. It was supposed to be God's gift to pedals and was recommended very highly to me. I thought it was good but not great. I know I'm in the minotity (most people love it) but it just never did it for me. I sold it in the 1990s for a fair amount more than I paid originally. Barry |
