Hey gang!

As you may remember from Snarewire, there was some discussion as to where we wanted to go with the blog, as it was becoming obvious, though it was a really nice and cozy place, it would soon become impossible to navigate.

Cliff and I each started the wheels in motion to set up forums, each not knowing the other was doing exactly the same thing. He and I talked quite a bit yesterday about this and we didn't see any reason why we couldn't keep them both running. So, that's the plan. There's no competition, contest or anything of the sort. We just didn't see why one of us needed to undo all the work we'd done setting up a forum. I plan to post often on both boards and Cliff has asked me (along with Greg and Kelly) to moderate here.

So, that being said, the other forum URL is http://www.speakingofdrums.com and you're all welcome there, too!

Good to see you all!

Thanks, Mike, for (i) explaining the situation, (ii) coming on board here, and (iii) making another option available.

You hit it on the head: no competition, or anything of that nature; just a concurrence that the time is right for more options.

Good to see you anywhere, Mike.

Thanks Greg and Cliff...good speaking with both of you as well!

The avatar is Erika's artwork which was replicated onto a bass drum head for my S-Class Pro kit. Thanks for the kind words! :D

Mike, tell Erika it looks great.

I signed on yesterday, but still can't actually log on. Did I get lost in a holding tank?
