Thanks for the kind words guys
. I've been keeping an eye on this forum, but haven't had a chance to post.
I had a couple of PM's from the museum, so I made a couple of brief posts, but I haven't really been online at all since late March.
Its been great
,been working my Ass off, but its been rewarding.
Just waiting on permits and such, and then we'll lay the concrete slab, and off we go
.
I'll be doing the internal fit-out myself. I'll frame the entire shed with stud pine, use insulation batts, then Plaster, just as if it was a house.
Then I'll build a 'floating room' inside,, with a 4-6in cavity between the walls.
The internal room will have its external walls plastered, filled with 'Rock Wool' (Acoustic insulation) and then have the inside lined with MDF panels (very dense).
I'm planning on having windows between each room, and the main Rehearsal/recording room will have a window with a view outside (down my driveway to the road), and a view thru the lounge area into the backyard.
If all goes to plan, this will be incredible.
Can't wait.
Cheers guys
