I think B is the close mic, and A is the the Overheads. I hear more clarity and volume on the snare and toms in B, than A.

Update:
I just noticed the answer was given. I spent a half an hour trying to figure it out! It was well worth the time.
It sounds like NO eq on the Overheads. Is that true Cliff?

I love recordings where 80% is Overhead's. I feel the close mics are strictly for added volume. Very interesting post Cliff. :D
