and I've played thousands
I didn't mean thousands of Zildjians, just lots and lots of ride cymbals of all makes. And yes, it was probably an exaggeration as I've never counted! But every time I walk into Boston Drum now which is only 3 miles away, I get to check out about 30 rides and that adds up over 25 years! That's what I meant.

Standard use of hyperbole, David. No harm in that! I've played a lot more cymbals over the internet than I ever did in person, so I should count those, too. Drum store tapping can add up quickly, and I have spent hours with borrowed sticks hitting cymbals out on display, as much out of boredom while phone calls are answered - which are always more important for some reason than the customer actually in the store - as from anything else. I am not often tapping to buy.
