great news! During the Sonor days I had the chance to talk to a real expert: Sonor master joiner Harald! We went to the veneer storage and he showed me that "my" veneer is KHAYA PYRAMID :D
He let me know, that this fissures are charateristic of the Khaya Pyramid, and that´s my snare in this condition a nice exemplar with a real rare finish is :)

I will share some pics of the snare (and a few others ;) ) in the Sonor geeks area!
