This sold. 1700 hundred dollar snare drum. Can't justify it can't comprehend it.

I'll believe it's sold when I see the positive feedback. Usually these are trigger-happy people who have instant buyer's remorse and bail on the deal, and then you see the drum re-listed in a few weeks.

Then again, I could be wrong (for the first time ever)!

I hear ya. But I'm paralyzed at the asking price alone.
What justifies it?
I don't see the manufacturing costs in it.
Are they buying the hype?
Do they think it's going to sound like a 1700 drum?
