Love birch. All the folks here looking for Designer Bubinga orphans have Maple kits. I think if I was looking I'd buy it anyway. |

We spent lot of spring and early summer days cutting, splitting and stacking birch for the fireplaces and stoves in the house. Some of the finest firewood ever.

Not to mention the most beautiful bark. The leaves don't turn a nice color in fall however, unlike that species some use for inexpensive furniture referred to as "maple".  - D. |
