Love birch. All the folks here looking for Designer Bubinga orphans have Maple kits. I think if I was looking I'd buy it anyway. |

We spent lot of spring and early summer days cutting, splitting and stacking birch for the fireplaces and stoves in the house. Some of the finest firewood ever. |

Not to mention the most beautiful bark. The leaves don't turn a nice color in fall however, unlike that species some use for inexpensive furniture referred to as "maple". - D. |
